ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Evaluate students.2. Prepare MET and evaluation reports.3. Participate in MET and IEPT meetings.4. Write appropriate goals and objectives.5. Provide therapy to students.6. Maintain a schedule of service and student progress.7. Consult with staff and parents.8. Establish and maintain agency contacts.9. Act as a resource, if needed, to the general public and students attending or visiting the NC RESA.10. Possess knowledge of NC RESAs organization, mission, and philosophy.11. Perform other duties deemed appropriate by the Director of Special Education Services. STARTING DATE: August 30, 2010 TERMS: NCEA bargaining unit member. SALARY RANGE: $44,924-$71,635 pro-rated to part-time, commensurate with experience.

Job Description: Newaygo County RESA is looking for a part-time physical therapist or physical therapist assistant to provide school-based PT services to students in the Newaygo County school districts. Pediatric experience is recommended, but is not required.
